our ongoing work for new york university spans nearly a decade. during this time the university has transformed from a highly regarded, predominantly local institution into the nation's largest private university and a truly global force. our work has touched various aspects of university communications, from housing and dining to the bookstore and performing arts center.

marketing campaign

NYU opened a new bookstore serving both students and the surrounding community of Greenwich Village. The University needed to announce the bookstore and build excitement, while creating awareness. IOP created a cross media marketing campaign announcing and promoting the store. This campaign introduces the new NYU Bookstore to the downtown community, new students and their families. “Find Yourself” embraces the transformative and transporting power of the NYU Bookstore experience—getting lost (and found!) in the essential acts of reading and hanging out in the heart of the NYC, in the bookstore.

creating a presence

NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts appeals to a wide audience of performing arts lovers while building a new generation of supporters. The Web is their primary communication and booking tool. So, when the Skirball Center realized they needed an update, they turned to IOP to re-imagine their Web presence — and rebuild it.

We helped Skirball Center realize two strategic goals. First we reorganized their information and brought events to the forefront, leveraging the grandeur of the space and beauty of the performances to create a highly visual experience. Second, we enabled them to be self sufficient by implementing a rich content management system to simplify site management and updating—returning control of content to the Skirball staff.
