create a presence

The Foundation needed a partner to help shape the Commission’s presence from the start. Working through strategic planning stages, IOP consulted on naming and then created a visual brand identity and logo to represent the Commission. Building on the identity, IOP created a full suite of communications materials, including a robust web site, reports, a publication system, business forms, event graphics, and electronic communications among many others.

The Foundation and its partners are thrilled with the results. Ann Christiano, Senior Communications Officer at the Foundation had this to say: “IOP surpassed all my expectations, and created a design that was both stunning and practical.” IOP acted as the branding and design consultant to the Commission throughout its three-year duration. In addition to satisfying client demands, the work was recognized by GraphicDesign USA and The Global Awards, among other industry honors.

communicate the findings

IOP created all the major reports and communications for the Commission. We also prepared templates for various partners to create ongoing communications. These documents communicated research findings and personal stories, and were instrumental in discussions with policymakers and influencers during the health care reform debate. Although the Commission did not lobby, it presented its findings in a politically neutral way to help inform the discussion and debate.

IOP created, developed and maintained the site for the Commission’s duration, adding rich content features and a wealth of information for researchers and policy advocates alike. The site was ever evolving, expanding to include not only the public site and content management system, but a private Commissioner site as well. The site will be maintained through 2010, and then archived in a static state. Visit the site.
