tb alliance is working to find a cure for the world’s oldest infectious disease by developing new, faster-acting and universally affordable medicines. to combat a disease that infects over 2 billion people, the alliance needed communications as innovative as their approach. as the agency of record for over 10 years, iop has developed the alliance's visual identity and implemented dozens of strategic communications, building their presence as their scale and reach increased.
2011 annual report
crossing thresholds
Working with the TB Alliance for 10 years since its inception, this is the 10th Anniversary annual report for both the Alliance and IOP. IOP created the report “Crossing Thresholds ... ” to help convey the urgency of the need, and the barriers the Alliance is breaking. Through bold typography, color, statistics and images, IOP highlighted all the Alliances initiatives, and patient profiles. This report serves the Alliance as their primary communications vehicle in print.
2010 annual report
more than ever
IOP created the report “More Than ... ” — an open statement articulating the wide territory the Alliance is addressing to cure TB. We highlighted the Alliances’ initiatives and included patient profiles as well as the use of bold and even shocking statistics. As a lean organization they rely on the annual report as their main printed communication each year.

Working with the TB Alliance, IOP developed a strategic communications plan to build momentum for their messages, and debuted it in stages to maximize the Alliance’s investment in each and every vehicle. We streamlined their audiences; tied communications together with an accessible platform; simplified messaging; and designed content to be reused across media. We began by designing their logo, stationery and first annual report to help establish the Alliance and build name recognition. Over the past ten years we have leveraged our efforts and produced dozens projects for the TB Alliance including: web site design and development, annual reports, advertising, e-newsletters, report templates and a branded conference.
