AAMC needed to reinvent its digital presence across a landscape of 20+ sites, using a mobile friendly approach. The recognized leader in academic medicine, known for its breadth of expertise and stellar service to senior leaders, needed a complete web overhaul and to create a digital expression of their brand.
Collaborating with our partners at A57, IOP created a design system that brought the brand to life online, and began to realize their digital strategy. The new site helps build a strong community among those in academic medicine while enabling swifter delivery of more targeted content and spurring greater utilization of the trove of data and resources AAMC has to offer.
We recommended streamlining the content, simplifying the navigation and enhancing the visuals including a proprietary icon system. The fully accessible buildout, with tech partner MindTree, will take several years to fully encompass their ecosystem of sites, evolving from the initial launch to the fully realized, holistic web presence that is the future vision.
