IOP worked with long-time partner Dominion Energy to create their 2023 Annual Report, our 12th year collaborating. Working to communicate the company’s key messages to investors and stakeholders, including their commitment to the energy transition, the report features the progress and milestones. We also communicated customer benefits and the use of energy throughout the report. Each year we create the report within their established brand while introducing fresh elements and ideas to make each report fresh and unique, this year we emphasize Dominion’s focus on renewable energy.
IOP designed a compact but robust report, each page full of data points visualized, short sidebar stories and infographics all reinforcing messages in the CEO letter. Throughout the report, we featured customers, and employees working and volunteering to demonstrate the positive impact Dominion Energy has on the communities it serves. The report features a bright color palette and photography that showcases energy in use––opening with a sweeping aerial photograph of Charleston, SC, lit up against the night sky. These elements give the feeling the report is being lit from within, and illuminate Dominion Energy’s commitment to providing reliable, affordable, and increasingly clean energy that powers their customers every day.
